Principal, Asakura Robinson Company Born in Tokyo, Keiji has over 28 years of experience in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture and Planning across the U.S. and Internationally. Shortly after moving to California, he worked at a nursery after school, where his love of horticulture first took root. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic University, he began his first landscape architect practice in Newport Beach. Keiji was awarded the 2005 Distinguished Service Award by Mayor Bill White for his numerous in-kind contributions. He serves on many Boards and Commissions, including Blueprint Houston, The Park People, Keep Houston Beautiful, and Japan America Society of Houston.
