Scenic Houston’s mission is to preserve and enhance the character of the spaces where we live, work, and visit.
Vision
Scenic Houston believes everyone has the right to live in a community surrounded by beautiful, thoughtfully planned public spaces and uncluttered highways. Our mission-driven work focuses on five areas:
- Transforming streetscapes and roadways into more scenic spaces
- Educating stakeholders on best scenic practices
- Advocating for more scenic streets and highways
- Elevating scenic standards in Houston-area neighborhoods and cities
- Celebrating scenic visionaries and spaces in Houston
We accomplish our vision through our education and advocacy efforts, capital projects, programs and the many partnerships formed with city and county officials, TIRZ’s, management districts and other neighborhood entities in Houston.
