On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Scenic Houston partnered with Houston Parks Board, alongside 20+ green organizations, to host a Mayoral Forum with 5 leading candidates on how they will address the need for additional public investment in parks and greenspace to ensure all Houstonians have equitable access to quality parks, trails, and waterways they can use and enjoy.

Scenic Houston honored the Texas Medical Center (TMC) and the Helix Park Project on May 24, 2023 at its Annual Scenic Star Reception. The TMC Helix Park was recognized for not only highlighting the world-changing healthcare and medical research taking place in Houston, but giving our city another thoughtfully planned green space. All Aboard METRO
On Thursday, November 10th Scenic Houston hosted a workshop with METRO to discuss their updated approach to Transit Oriented and Joint Development. This was an opportunity to help shape and influence how METRO moves forward with design, partnerships, and RFPs for the first phases of the METRONext Expansion. We are grateful to those that attended as their presence helpes ensure this expansion provides scenic, safe, and successful streetscaping in and around METRO’s development.
